Cuisine

At Elmwood, we place great emphasis on maintaining a high standard of traditional and nutritious cuisine with good choice and variety. To this end, we have devised a four-week menu which avoids repetition and provides residents an alternative for each course. In the residents monthly meetings, we seek their opinion and listen to their preferences, or their fancies, for a special dish. Once the majority of residents confirm the dish, we add the dish to the menu and amend it.

Our experienced cook caters for special diets. Our elegant dining room overlooking the garden offers a relaxing environment for the enjoyment of meals but we are happy to provide room service if residents prefer to dine in their own room.

Residents receive a regular supply of fresh fruit of their preference.
